On the surface…

Everything looks good, you have built a successful career and created financial stability with a fulfilling home life.

But beneath the surface…

Something’s off and you can’t quite put your finger on what it is…

You just don’t feel like yourself any more…and you don’t know why.

When you start to think and feel this way, it indicates that there is an identity misalignment growing between who you were and who your identity is evolving into now at this specific stage of your life.

Identity evolution can make you feel lost, confused and disconnected from your self and its not restricted to specific ages in life. It can occur any time you are transiting through a different phase of life or when a situation calls for change and self reflection.

If your story, beliefs, habits and behaviours are attached to an outdated identity that are causing you to feel mentally and emotionally fed up and exhausted, you need to ask yourself “how much longer can I go on feeling this way”?

Sometimes you need to pause and recognise that you need help and that you can’t figure this out on your own, no matter how hard you try!

The problem with holding everything together is that at some point, you are going to come unstuck. You cannot avoid the fact that without intervention, this will continue to dominate your mind and body, pushing you further away from your self, and the life you are trying to create.

The relationship you have with your self is the most important relationship you’ll have in your life time. Yet for some people, it can be the most dysfunctional and challenging one they encounter, causing them to spend the vast majority of life fighting an internal battle against themselves.

Whilst the desired outcomes and motivations will be different for each person, at the heart of what I do is to help you identify the misalignment you are currently experiencing with your self and how this is affecting your life.

The way I work is by helping you address your internal and external needs simultaneously. I use a mixture of scientific approaches, (neuroplasticity for habit formation to change current thought and behaviour patterns) to integrate and imbed long lasting changes, along side ancient practices (drawing attention from mind and into body more ) for emotional and self reconnection. The following are an overview of what you can expect while working with me.

  • We are reducing symptoms of anxiety restoring the balance of your internal environment by implementing actions to regulate your nervous system. This will address symptoms of stress and anxiety to decrease future possibilities of burnout. The overall aim is to create a robust flexible nervous system that can effectively adapt to it’s surroundings without spiralling in the face of challenge, it’s not to maintain a calm and serene internal state at all times.

  • You are anchoring in your updated identity to aid with creating internal trust and safety, enabling you to make decisions with greater ease and clarity, reducing the need for overthinking and self doubt.

  • Implementation of personal and professional boundaries without guilt boosting mental resilience, ensure you are attuning to your emotional needs.

  • Learn to welcome your emotions with curiosity and show up for yourself when you are faced with challenges instead of defaulting to your outdated coping mechanisms.

  • Address what you currently need help with to lighten the emotional and mental burden enabling you to free up some internal space to open yourself up to new opportunities and possibilities.

  • Reclaim your authority to be able to express your needs confidently without fear of rejection.

Carrying around an outdated identity that hasn’t been designed to nurture, encourage or love you, over time poisons your mind and body, leaving you feeling like an alien in your own skin.

Your identity and the coping mechanisms attached to it have now served their purpose, it’s time to reattune to your emotional needs by creating resilience and acceptance to restore your internal balance for your future health and prosperity and a thriving relationship with your self for the years to come.

who I’m helping…

I work with UK based creatives and creative professionals. Although every human is creative, I am specifically referring to individuals who are actively following creative pursuits as a profession or way of life. I’m not from a corporate background and as much as I’m not fluffy or ethereal in my demeanour, I am more aligned to creatively minded individuals.

I work with both men and women between the ages of 30 to 50 +. I don’t feel people starting out would benefit from my help. My specialities are better suited to people who are already established within themselves and their careers.

Although you are willing, you are not currently managing your internal environment, and at the moment, the relationship with yourself is somewhat of an after thought.

You are committed to improving the relationship you have with yourself as a matter of priority, using sustainable practices that build habits to help you create long lasting change from the inside out.

Hi,

I’m Harriet, a fully qualified personal performance coach based in the UK. I offer private online 1:1 coaching for creative professionals, who are feeling lost within themselves and uncertain about what to do next.

My ethos is to keep it simple and focus on the core elements that lead to long lasting change such as replacing outdated language and beliefs using habit formation via neuroplasticity. To create genuine change we have to face our fears and explore the emotions and thoughts that have been keeping us stuck and trapped in an identity that we may not have created had our early years been different.

I spent the vast majority of my life avoiding myself and ignoring my emotional needs working and playing hard until I was exhausted and fed up from trying to please everyone except me.

The sooner you start to listen to what your body is trying to tell you the sooner you will reconnect to yourself creating internal balance and external alignment.
